For 30 years\, serial entrepreneur Ian Collins has taken that guidance to heart. Across his impressive career\, each of the seven tech startups he’s founded has stemmed from a single\, powerful source: a real-world problem that needed a solution. \nIn a fireside chat with Founders Network Founder and CEO Kevin Holmes on August 27\, Ian will dissect his entrepreneurial journey\, revealing the fascinating stories behind each of his successful ventures. From navigating the early days of mobile networks to developing solutions for the burgeoning chatbot revolution\, Ian will showcase his ability to identify critical customer pain points across diverse industries. \n  \nOpening Remarks @ 9:30am PT\nJoin us for opening remarks with Dina Fattom\, Member Success Manager at Founders Network\, to get the latest updates from the Network and opportunities for getting involved. \n  \nKeynote Speaker @ 9:40am PT\nIan Collins is a seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for innovation & problem solving. Ian was most recently the founder and CEO of Wysdom.AI\, one of the first AI evaluation solutions for the enterprise. Through his career Ian has founded 7 tech companies over the past 30 years by focusing on solving real problems in large markets. \nAfter starting his career as an engineer in the telecom industry Ian’s entrepreneurial journey started in the 90s when cellular networks were emerging as a new technology and there was demand around the world for talented engineers. Then he applied that domain expertise to the emerging internet and founded a company to take the internet from the desktop to mobile phones. After that he solved a problem that the telecom industry had supporting smartphones as they took over the mobile device market. The next challenge was helping the mass market avoid the loss of digital photos and music before cloud storage was cheap and plentiful. Then most recently Ian saw that AI was going to need an independent evaluation framework and solved that problem for the enterprise contact center industry. \nIan invests in\, mentors and sits on the boards of startups and is currently working on his next company. \n  \nStage-Based Roundtables @ 10:30am PT \n  \nComplimentary Ticket:\nAre you a full-time tech founder? While it unlocks incredible potential\, it also raises questions: How do you build a winning team in this new era? How can you leverage AI’s power without sacrificing human ingenuity? \nIn an era dominated by AI innovation\, it’s crucial for businesses to stay ahead by cultivating a robust talent strategy. In a webinar for Founders Network on June 13\, Howdy.com Founder and CTO Frank Licea will provide valuable insights into this evolving dynamic. \nHowdy.com is a Y-Combinator company backed by Obvious and Greycroft. They help U.S. tech companies find and retain the best LATAM talent to power successful\, diverse\, long-term tech teams. \nFrank will share real-world insights from successful tech teams: \n\nLessons Learned: Discover effective strategies to build diverse\, long-term tech teams that thrive in the dynamic AI environment.\nMitigating Risk: Learn how to navigate the evolving talent landscape and minimize risk factors in team building.\nActionable Strategies: Gain practical takeaways to implement in your own company\, ensuring you attract and retain the best talent.\n\n  \nAbout the Speaker:\nFrank Licea is the co-founder and CTO of Howdy.com\, a talent-sourcing platform that solves US tech companies’ biggest challenge — scaling their teams. \nHowdy.com is a product of Frank’s frustration with the flaws in the traditional outsourcing model. Incentive conflicts\, cultural clashes\, and time zone differences prevent CTOs from building thriving product teams. \nFrank realized that he had to change the game to make the nearshoring of LatAm talent work. Drawing on two decades of experience in product development and engineering\, Frank focuses on imprinting individual company culture on extended engineering teams. \nObvious\, Greycroft\, and Y-Combinator back Howdy.com\, and it works with Coinbase\, WP Engine\, OJO Labs\, and others. \nFrank\, an empathetic leader with a wry sense of humor\, lives in Austin\, TX\, with his wife and two daughters.  \n  \nComplimentary Ticket:\nAre you a full-time tech founder?
